I would just like to take a minute and talk about depression. Pretty much everyone gets it but some are worse then others. I have had depression for a while now and people thought I was just saying it to get attention, Depression is no funny business. Depression is really serious and some people don’t understand that. Depression has made people take their lives because they couldn’t stand it anymore. People also think that people like me are fucked up and not right. I have depression, bad anxiety, and I have self harmed. That doesn’t make me a bad person and that doesn’t make anyone a bad person who has the same thing. To the people on my Tumblr that had depression, keep your head up. Whatever you do, don’t give up. I know right now you are probably in darkness but pretty soon you will find that light at the end of the tunnel. Just hang in there and don’t listen to what people say if they try to bring you down. You all are strong and you guys are not alone, remember that. Stay strong, stay beautiful, stay you.

"Craving sensation: feeling unreal" was such a huge part of the beginning of my relapse. I was convinced that people in front of me didn’t even exist and I kept touching things and trying to feel sensation. I’m reblogging because I know that that was so horrifying for me and I never want anyone else to go through it.

The point of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

the point of pouring a shit ton of ice water over yourself is because when one suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) one of the affects the disease has is a numbness throughout the body, as well as struggling to breathe, and both these are meant to temporarily happen when doused in freezing water. It’s to raise awareness of what ALS feels like and encourage donations towards research and cures.
